Question by Fantasy Football Addict: What are the best christmas lights to use that wont burn out quickly?
I am looking to buy some new christmas lights for outdoor use. Maybe some isicle lights or something. I just want to know what to look for when purchasing the lights. I have had way too many experiences with the lights burning out or not working after one season. What are the best lights to get and where can I find them? Does anyone have any that they had good experiences with first hand? Thanks in advance . Merry Christmas!

Just bought some LED lights from COSTCO, supposed to last longer than conventional lights and the bulbs don’t get hot.

The big guys use a computer, which directly controls the lights, and plays the music. Software syncs programmed light actions to the music file playback.

You can, use a narrow band audio filter to filter out certain frequencies in the audio, and use that to trigger lights directly.

In either case, Solid State Relays are used to switch the AC powered lights by a low voltage logic signal.

In my opinion it would be good to give her something meaningful. . .
Examples
1. A souvenir type present, like an object that you guys have special memories with or of a special event
2. Something you made on your own
3. Something useful around the house and that actually lasts for a long time so she can remember you every time she uses it
4. Not food. . . Or give food with something because food goes away quickly
5. A photo album

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for a month or so. Its a long distance relationship so we’re already planning what we’re gonna do for christmas. I tried asking what he wants from me and he said all he wants is me and there’s nothing more to ask for. Even though I do plan on seeing him for Christmas I want to get him something! HELP?

(btw im 14 and he will be 15 a couple days after christmas if that helps.)

Well, last year me and my boyfriend had christmas for the first time and we have a long distance relationship. Its a bit early to be planning christmas gifts, especially if you’ve only been dating a month. But the best way to figure out what to get him is ask him little questions or pay attention if he starts talking about a movie or cd he likes or wants or something. Just take note of his likes and dislikes. Like last year, me and my boyfriend live in minnesota, and he loves the sweet martha cookies from the state fair, so i got the dough and baked him a bunch of those and i got him a shirt with some musical things on it since he loves music and some extra little candy pieces…like a few holiday milky ways or whatever your guys favorite candy is. I think it is pretty clear that Christmas is largely no longer a religious holiday, but a capitalist holiday. How did this happen, has it always been like this or is this a recent historical development?

My daughter will have one for Christmas eve and one for Christmas day. She also uses one for our family Christmas photo. So far she actually doesn’t have any but I’m thinking of going today to get her one because we want to get our Christmas pictures done tonight. How many does your child have? What is he/she wearing?

A dressy Christmas dress, Christmas themed pajamas for Christmas morning, and a holiday t-shirt for class parties.

We took pictures over the weekend, and it took over 100 shots to get something that would work for the holiday cards. It’s almost impossible to get all three to smile or look at the camera at the same time. Thank god for digital cameras!

For my boyfriend I’m getting a picture of us two together and then getting a nice frame and putting it in it and behind the picture inside the frame I am writing a letter to him about all our best memories and how much I love him and he may find it years to come!
I am also getting him a light that is in the shape of a guitar.

XMas? Wouldn’t that be the celebration of birth (which is really a birth-day)? How about Family Day? Christmas is usually celebrated with families. But how about the people with no family? Are they not allowed to celebrate it then?
